Playscape design for this 2.7 acre urban park greatly enlarges the existing playscape and serves multi-age users. The layout, ground plane manipulation, and equipment choice fosters the concept of play as a range of voluntary, intrinsically motivated activities that associates with pleasure and enjoyment. The design encourages users to pursue whatever arouses their curiosity. The playscape enhances the environment of the whole park, specifically the undulating pond that occupies 2/3 of the park. The play areas are woven into the rest of the park seamlessly.
