MARYLAND SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF

Frederick, MD

This new dining hall is in the center of the historic Frederick campus.  It provides a multi-purpose venue beyond dining for the students with hearing disabilities.  The dining space spills out to an outdoor eating terrace and take advantage of existing mature trees of the surroundings.  Landscape is simple by intention for the institutional setting and compliments this modern structure in the historic context.
