DIAMOND TEAGUE PARK

Washington, DC

Until this park was built, there was no direct connection between the river and the city on the north shore of Anacostia River.  People can approach the river.  This park also serves as one of the important pieces of Anacostia River Walk, which staddles the stretching from the Tidal Basin to the District's northeast border with Maryland.
